We opened Bearden Nutrition September 9, 2019, after moving to Knoxville from Madison, Mississippi. Our close friends Jeff and Lori Case approached us about moving to Tennessee and opening a nutrition club. They had been involved in opening close to 80 stores across Mississippi and Louisiana and saw a ton of opportunity in the East Tennessee area. Within weeks, we packed up our house, three children, and two dogs, and set out on a new adventure.

We are natives of New Orleans, Louisiana, where we lived until Hurricane Katrina. After a few years in Memphis, Tennessee and 10 years in Madison Mississippi, we are now thrilled to be residents of East Tennessee. The Knoxville community has welcomed us with open arms and we have really enjoyed getting to know and establish relationships with the great people that we serve. We can't thank you enough for allowing us to provide you with premium Nutrition.

Owner Leslie Armstrong has been very involved in the fitness industry for 20+  years. She is a CPT with NASM and is Les Mills certified in GRIT, BODYPUMP, BODYATTACK, and BODYCOMBAT. Leslie has been a group EX instructor for many years and is extremely passionate about Health & Fitness and premium nutrition. More than anything, Leslie has a heart for Women's ministry and is currently a member of Northstar Church.

Jason Armstrong can often be found helping out around the store, but works full time as a salesman in the Tax & Accounting industry. With an extensive background in athletics from an early age, Jason earned a Division 1 baseball scholarship to the University of New Orleans, where he finished a 4 year baseball career as a pitcher. When his playing days were finished, Jason became entrenched in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, where he holds the rank of Brown Belt. Outside of work and hanging with family, Jason spends most of his time on a mountain bike.
